Canteen & Camp Store

All campers put their funds into a Camp Store account and a record of purchases is kept. Campers are limited in the amount of consumable items purchased each day.

  • The recommended spending allowance is $20-$30 per camper. Food and drink items are $2 each, and merchandise varies between $1-$40.

New in 2024: Canteen balances will no longer be returned at the end of the week to help us be compliant with tax requirements. Caregivers will receive a copy of their camper’s record of purchases.

Camp staff will make every effort to have the canteen open for parents to visit together with their campers both at check-in and check-out. This will allow parents and caregivers to help their campers select merchandise, sizes, etc.

Online Camp Store

If you would like to purchase any of our camp merchandise we encourage you to shop our Online Camp Store.

Items that are ordered will be shipped directly to you at any time. We advise allowing at least one week before check-in if you would like your camper’s merchandise to arrive prior to their arrival at camp.

Lost & Found

Please be sure you have all your camper’s belongings before leaving camp.  We are not responsible for locating or returning items left behind.  You will be responsible for postage and handling charges if you ask for items to be sent to you.

All items left behind will be held in our Lost & Found until September 1, after which they will be donated.

Transportation

The camper’s family will be responsible for providing or arranging transportation home.

Vehicles left at camp should remain parked on site throughout the week.

Departures

We will have an in-person closing worship service at the end of each camping program. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend, as each camper will have a role in the closing program. Closing worship occurs on the final day of camp at 10:30 am, with the exception of Mighty Ones, which takes place on Tuesday night at 6:15 pm.  Please note that Fortune Lake is in the Central time zone.

All campers must be signed out from their cabin leaders. Campers will be released only to the persons authorized on their registration or Camper Health History Form, or prearranged with the office. We recommend that whenever possible, the same person does both check-in and pick-up.

  • All Full-Week Programs:
    • Sign-out and Departure no later than 11:30 am
  • Mini Camp & Mash Up Programs ending 7/9:
    • Sign-out and Departure by 11:30 am

Please have the same check-in and pick-up person whenever possible.
