Do you love Acting, Choreography, Theatre, and Song? Have you always wanted to be on stage but don’t know where to start? Whether you’re a seasoned theatre veteran or new to the performing arts, this week of camp is for you!
This week of camp is for those who love the stage or those who want to try it out for the first time. Rehearsals and preparation will alternate with all the typical camp activities like swimming, chapel, Bible study, games, canteen and campfires.
We’ll work on putting together a short show, giving us time to polish the performance while still experiencing camp. It’s gonna be the best of both worlds!
Experienced drama, dance, and vocal instructors, along with summer staff, will oversee the production while campers utilize and grow their individual talents. Older campers who participated last summer may choose to serve as Leaders in Training (LITs) for this week! Campers will learn lines and blocking, sing in the chorus, and/or dance their way into the hearts of the audience, who will gather for the live performance in the chapel at the end of the week.
$30 resource fee included in cost of camp
This program runs concurrently with Mini Camp, Villagers, Venturers, and Vagabonds, so it’s perfect for sending sibling groups at the same time. Campers from different programs will occasionally interact at all-camp games and chapel, but they will still have plenty of space to grow on their own.
