Villagers experience a full week at camp. They sleep in bunk beds in our Village cabins with a trained Cabin Leader and a group of other same aged campers. With opportunities for swimming*, boating, playing games, arts-n-crafts, a beach party, and singing songs, campers will stay active from morning ‘til night!
A week as a Villager will help your child grow in faith, build friendships, gain confidence and learn independence. They’ll learn to come together as a group with kids they don’t know while navigating new experiences together. Typical highlights include giggling in the cabin, savoring snacks from the canteen, devouring s’mores at the beach party, and making projects in Arts-n-Crafts. They will come home with a pile of dirty laundry, sharing stories from camp and the Bible!
*Please note that this is the first program during which campers are eligible to take the swim test. Those who pass have the opportunity to swim in the deep end under certified lifeguard supervision. It’s a major milestone and achievement for many campers. However, there is still plenty of fun to be had in the shallow end, sand, and on watercraft for campers who do not opt to take the swim test or do not pass.
