For grades 7-12
Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp invites all current 7-12 graders to our In The Body Jr/Sr High Retreat! Join us for a weekend of faith formation, music, and fun! Fortune Lake is thrilled to welcome Rachel Kurtz as our facilitator for this retreat. 
Through this year’s theme, Rachel Kurtz will guide the group through what it means to be “In The Body,” both in our own bodies and in the greater Body of Christ. Rachel will touch on what it means to be truly present and kind to our own bodies, how we can better show up as a member of the Body of Christ, and what that looks like in our lives. She will also be sharing her powerful music with the group throughout the weekend. The weekend will also feature familiar camp favorites like songs, games, campfire, hot saunas, and more. Our one-night retreats are great for both longtime campers and those who are just trying it out for the first time.
Lodging:
Youth attendees will lodge in duplex cabins. Youth group leaders may lodge with the youth in duplexes for the standard fee or in one of our retreat lodges for $100/adult by request.
To bring:
Comfortable weather-appropriate clothing (We will be spending time outside) and footwear, personal toiletries, flashlights, and Bibles are all suggested packing items. Please do not bring valuables or personal electronic devices – including phones. A full packing list will be sent out with pre-retreat communications via email.
The training is free to all interested adults. Individuals who are unable to bring a group to the retreat are still welcome to participate in the training from 9:00 am to 12 pm CT at Fortune Lake . Adults who are not attending the retreat should please RSVP to Charlotte by Friday, April 4.
Price/Payment Details:
Cost of attendance includes lodging, meals, and programming. Full retreat registration payment will be charged when you register. Cancellation requests received by the posted Registration Deadline will be refunded minus a $25 administrative charge. Registration fees are non-refundable after the Registration Deadline of April 4, 2025. This allows camp to do the best planning for staffing, meals, and programming for the correct number of attendees.
