Daily Bread Youth Retreat for Grades 3-6

April 24 - 25, 2026 CDT

- $90

For Grades 3 – 6

Current 3-6 graders are invited to Fortune Lake’s Daily Bread: Youth Retreat coming April 24-25, 2026! This one-night retreat is the perfect chance for returning campers to see familiar faces and spaces and for new campers to try things out before committing to a full week at camp.

Our theme this year is “Daily Bread,” which will have us take a closer look at The Lord’s Prayer through interactive lessons and hands-on activities. Participants will learn, ask questions, play, worship, and sing together. Youth retreats feature camp favorites like campfire, games, camp-style worship and songs, time to play with new and old friends, and more!

While not required for attendance, adults are encouraged to attend with their youth! We will be joined by Community Service Trooper Tom Kinnunen, who will be providing a cyber safety presentation with a focus on social media and its potential dangers. Adults can lodge in duplexes with their youth for the full experience or opt to stay in one of our retreat lodges for an additional fee.

Have questions? Reach out by calling the camp office at (906) 214-2267 or by emailing Charlotte at hospitality@fortunelake.org. We hope to see you soon!

Check in will be from 6:00 – 6:30 pm CT on April 24. There will be an evening snack served on Friday night, but please have dinner before arriving at Fortune Lake. Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday are included. The retreat ends at 3 pm CT on April 25. There is a closing worship at 2:30 pm CT, and family members are welcome to attend.

Registration deadline for this retreat is April 17 at 11:59 pm CT.

Adult Leader Workshop Option:

April 25, 2026
9:00 am – 12:00 pm CST

We will be offering an adult training component on Saturday, April 11th that is included in the experience for every adult chaperone. We will be joined by Community Service Trooper Tom Kinnunen, who will be providing a cyber safety presentation with a focus on social media and its potential dangers.
