DESCRIPTION:Senior Day is a wonderful way to reconnect with old friends and make a few new ones along the way. Come and join us for a day of conversation\, delicious food\, and fun! \nDates:\n\nMonday\, September 8: Christian Nationalism\nPr. Dave Van Kley will share on the pertinent topic of Christian Nationalism: What it is\, how to identify it\, and how we are called to respond as Lutheran Christians.\nMonday\, November 17: Thanksgiving Meal\nTogether we’ll prepare\, cook\, and feast on a homemade spread for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Come prepared to peel\, chop\, and enjoy the tastes of the season\, all in great company!\nMonday\, January 12: Topic TBD\nMonday\, March 9: Topic TBD\nMonday\, May 11: Topic TBD\n\nEach Senior Day begins at 10 am CT and wraps up by 2pm CT. The program varies but generally includes the following: \n\n10:00 am – Arrival and check-in\, coffee and fellowship time\n10:15 am – Devotion & announcements\n10:30 am – Presentation morning session\n12:00 pm – Lunch\n1:00 pm – Presentation afternoon session\n\n$15 donation* per participant is requested to cover the cost of food. \n* The suggested donation is to cover the increasing cost of food and kitchen labor. DESCRIPTION:Light the Fire for Fortune Lake is coming to a campfire site near you! \nMake plans to join in the fun on Sunday\, May 31 at 6:30 pm LOCAL TIME \nThe Board of Directors invites you to Light the Fire for Fortune Lake\, a community-centered evening of friends\, family\, faith\, and fellowship around the campfire as we raise funds for Fortune Lake! We are excited to kick off the summer camp season and to celebrate the work of God through our beloved camp. \nThe following locations will host simultaneous campfire events: \nBethany Lutheran Church – 715 Mather Ave.\, Ishpeming\, MI 49855 \nBethany Lutheran Church – 130 Odill Dr\, Norway\, MI 49870 \nFaith Luthern Church – 6995 Highway 45 South\, Three Lakes\, WI 54562 \nFortune Lake Lutheran Camp – 138 Fortune Lake Camp Rd\, Crystal Falls\, MI 49920 \nHoly Trinity Lutheran Church – 42905 Wilson Memorial Dr\, Chassell\, MI 49916 \nBeach House hosted by Immanuel Lutheran Church Escanaba – 1224 Lake Shore Dr.\, Gladstone\, MI 49837 \nZion Lutheran Church – 2714 James St\, Marinette\, WI 54143 \nFacebook – get a glimpse of ALL of the campfires from Anywhere! \nYou can expect camp songs\, skits\, stories\, s’mores\, swag giveaways\, and lots of FUN! \nSite hosts are busy preparing for you.
