DESCRIPTION:Completed Grades K – 5\nExplore all the fun of camp without staying overnight. This is a great opportunity to introduce local youth to camp!\n \nOffered:\n\nJuly 20 – 23\nJuly 27 – 30\n\nFour action-packed days include chapel\, lunch\, games\, swimming\, Bible activities\, picnics\, crafts\, and more! Campers stay with the same group all week\, led by experienced staff members who know how to engage them in fun opportunities meant to grow their faith and sense of wonder. Their days will be full\, spent almost exclusively outside\, playing active community-building games\, splashing in the shallow end at the beach (under the supervision of certified lifeguards)\, making themed projects at arts-n-crafts\, and building friendships with other local kids. They’ll come home exhausted\, but wake up wanting to return! \nSchedule:\n\nCamp runs 9 am to 5 pm\, Monday – Thursday (no Friday session)\nThe week will conclude with a short program on Thursday at 4:30 celebrating the campers’ experiences\n\nMore Information:\n\nYouth Camp Guide\n\n\nPrice:\n\n$140/person\n\nPlease note: Please note: we never wish to turn away anyone for financial reasons. DESCRIPTION:Families of all ages\nIntergenerational campers come in all shapes\, sizes\, ages. We have multi-generational families\, Godparents and Godchildren\, single adults\, and grandparents and grandkids\, and everything in between. \nOur Intergenerational Camp program is all inclusive with meals\, lodging\, and quality Christ-centered activities for all ages led by energetic summer staff. \nIf you want to experience Jesus’s love in intentional community with your family\, this experience is for you! Our intergenerational camps build an excitement for God\, create meaningful faith practices you can continue at home\, and invite you to play together in God’s amazing creation. You have time to both relax AND create memories as a family! \nHere’s a taste of what our Intergenerational campers will enjoy: campfire worship\, beach time\, hikes\, Arts-n-Crafts\, outdoor games\, fishing\, boat rides\, river tubing\, s’mores\, and stargazing. Morning Bible study groups will be broken down by age groups\, and adults will be treated to a facilitator who will both inspire and challenge their faith while the kiddos engage with their peers. \nThere is so much outdoor fun to be had! New and old friends are welcome! Please join us and invite a friend. \nAlso Offered: \n\nWeek 1: June 14 – 19\nHalf-Week: June 28 – July 1\nWeek 2: July 26 – 31\n\n\nSpeaker:\nIsaac will invite campers to consider how the ways that we “put on Christ” and Christian virtues prepares us to live out our vocation as humans\, as Christians\, and as unique and beloved persons. \nISAAC ARTEN is a theologian and historian of theology. Born and raised in Laurium\, he spent his summers in the 1990s as a camper at Fortune Lake from Faith Lutheran\, Calumet\, and worked on the FLLC summer staff from 2000-2003. \nToday\, with a PhD in theology\, Isaac teaches at Saint Louis University and serves as the Theologian-in-Residence for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Ladue\, Missouri.
