Hands & Feet: Jr/Sr High Retreat

April 10 - 11, 2026 CDT

- $90

For grades 7-12

Current 7th-12th graders are invited to our upcoming Hands & Feet: Jr/Sr High Retreat set for April 10th-11th, 2026! This one-night experience is the perfect chance for returning campers to get their fill of camp before summer and for new folks to try things out. Attend with a group, bring a friend, or come on your own!

Our theme, Hands & Feet, will center around our call to serve. Together we will complete a service project as a group, engage in conversations that ground our work in Scripture, and debrief what it means to serve others. Our schedule will feature camp favorites such as campfire worship, hot saunas, games, songs, arts ‘n’ crafts, and more.

While youth are welcome to attend on their own, parents and adult leaders are encouraged to attend with their youth! We will be offering an adult training component on Saturday, April 11th that is included in the experience for every adult chaperone. Details about the adult training portion will be shared as they are finalized. Adults can lodge in duplexes with their youth for the full experience or opt to stay in one of our retreat lodges for an additional fee.

Have questions? Reach out by calling the camp office at (906)214-2267 or by emailing Charlotte at hospitality@fortunelake.org.

Lodging:

Youth attendees will lodge in duplex cabins.

Youth group leaders (adults) may lodge with the youth in duplexes for the standard fee or in one of our retreat lodges for $140/adult.

To bring:

Comfortable weather-appropriate clothing (we will be spending time outside) and footwear, personal toiletries, flashlights, and Bibles are all suggested packing items. Please do not bring valuables or personal electronic devices – including phones.  A full packing list will be sent out with pre-retreat communications via email.

Adult youth leaders and chaperones are encouraged to bring a group to this event and are dually invited to participate in a free workshop provided (more info about training forthcoming).

The training is free to all interested adults. Individuals who are unable to bring a group to the retreat are still welcome to participate in the training from 9:00 am to 12 pm CT at Fortune Lake. Adults who are not attending the retreat should please RSVP to Charlotte by Tuesday, April 7.

Adult chaperones who would like to lodge separately from their group can sign up for retreat lodging for an additional fee using the same registration link.

Registration Deadline Extended: April 7 @ 11:59 pm CT
Price: $90

Price/Payment Details:

Cost of attendance includes lodging, meals, and programming.  Full retreat registration payment will be charged when you register. Cancellation requests received by the posted Registration Deadline will be refunded minus a $25 administrative charge. Registration fees are non-refundable after the Registration Deadline of April 7, 2026. This allows camp to do the best planning for staffing, meals, and programming for the correct number of attendees.

Fortune Lake welcomes all participants!  If cost is a concern, please feel free to contact our main office to discuss scholarships.
