An all inclusive program for adults age 55+. This program is “Choose Your Own Adventure,” meaning participants partake in the activities of interest to them. Enjoy three nights/four days of interactive presenters, pontoon rides, paddle sports, pickle ball, Tai Chi, campfires, card games, meaningful worship experiences and as much social time as you want!
2024 was the first year for Evergreen Camp, and participants had a fantastic time! Now our staff can’t wait for our Evergreen campers to return and bring their friends for our third consecutive year.

Camp Pastor
Steve Solberg is a retired ELCA pastor living in the woods near Ishpeming, MI, having served parishes in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and now supplying many pulpits across the NGLS, along with pastoral care as a hospice chaplain with UP Home Health & Hospice.
A life-long Lutheran, Steve grew up listening to his father’s sermons and his mother’s teachings, experiencing God’s grace amidst brokenness. “Jesus died for our sins!” Yes, we’ve all heard it, but few unpack it. Perhaps it might even aid us actually “wear love.” As God’s chosen ones, let’s unpack this together.
